The story
Uncle Tư Việt, a farmer born and raised in the traditional rice culture of the Mekong Delta, saw the damage chemical farming did to the environment and the local community. Determined to make a change, he turned his land into a place that preserves traditional rice culture: not only the six-month seasonal rice, but the cultural identity around it.
Through natural farming, he nurtures his rice and protects the ecosystem around it: the soil, the water, and diverse plant and animal life. His work is a balance between people and nature that revives a way of life deeply connected to the land.
