The story

Sơn Trà peninsula is often called the "green lung" of Đà Nẵng, one of the most diverse and rich ecosystems in Vietnam. It draws visitors not only for its pristine landscapes but for its rare plants and animals, above all the red-shanked douc, an extremely endangered primate.

Over 300 red-shanked doucs have been recorded living on Sơn Trà. In this educational program we explore the ecosystem and wilderness of the peninsula: you trek into the forest, take in its nature, learn about the red-shanked douc and look for it.
