The story
A journey through Central Vietnam — Đà Nẵng, Huế and Hội An — to meet the people working in alternative education and in the care of children and adolescents, and the social enterprises and community initiatives around them. You visit a holistic education and social therapy community in Huế, learn with a river community in Hội An, and meet a homeschool and an alternative education project.

Day 1Arrival in Đà Nẵng
Day 2Liberating abilities — Huế: a vocational training and living community for young adults with disabilities, its incense, lacquer painting and pottery workshops and biodynamic garden; the Imperial Citadel
Day 3Beyond classrooms — a conversation on learning inside local communities and community-engaged learning tourism; a boat on the Thu Bồn river; Kim Bồng wood village
Day 4Transforming lives through alternative education — a homeschool; The Soil Project, Vcil Community's alternative education project; reflection
