KOTO ("Know One, Teach One")
restaurant

KOTO — “Know One, Teach One” — is the first social enterprise in Vietnam, founded in 1999. Its mission is to provide positive, permanent change for at-risk and disadvantaged youth through a comprehensive two-year hospitality training program that incorporates both vocational training and life skills development.

Over 1,200 young people have been trained to date, each empowered to break the cycle of poverty and build a successful career in the hospitality industry. KOTO’s model demonstrates that a restaurant can be far more than a place to eat — it can be a launchpad for transforming lives, one young person at a time.
