Founded in 2014, Journey of the Senses is a social impact business operating five sustainable business models that deliver unique, friendly, and professional experiences. The staff are mainly deaf and visually impaired individuals, demonstrating that disability is no barrier to excellence in hospitality.

The Five Models

  • Noir. Dining in the Dark (2014) — A mystery menu served in complete darkness, where guests rely entirely on taste, smell, and touch to discover each dish.
  • Blanc Restaurant (2017) — Guests order food using Vietnamese sign language, guided by hearing-impaired staff who teach basic signs at the table.
  • La Hoa (2019) — An art flower shop where customers are greeted with sign language and can explore beautiful floral arrangements crafted by deaf artisans.
  • Noir.Spa (2019) — A relaxing wellness experience conducted in dark spaces, heightening the senses and delivered by visually impaired therapists.
  • Du Du Xanh Vegetarian Restaurant (2020) — A healthy, plant-based dining concept promoting mindful eating and sustainable food choices.

Through these five models, Journey of the Senses redefines what hospitality can look like — proving that diverse teams create extraordinary guest experiences while generating lasting social impact.
