Located in the buffer zone of the Cham Islands-Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve, Cam Kim Commune benefits from the convergence of the Thu Bon River’s sweet waters and the brackish estuary. The area features rich biodiversity, lush mangroves, and fertile farmlands that have sustained communities for centuries.

The Kim Bong - Hoi An community has inherited a cultural and traditional fusion passed down through generations from the prosperous ancient port. The cooperative organizes its offerings around five distinctive value groups: fishing, traditional crafts, organic agriculture, ecology, and cuisine paired with cultural relics.

Its mission is to conserve and develop natural and cultural heritage while building unique heritage values through community-based learning tourism. Visitors experience an authentic way of life shaped by the river, the sea, and centuries of craft tradition — all while directly supporting the livelihoods of local families.
